Two models from Chopard’s sunglasses collection win awards for Best New Sunglass Model (Luxury Segment) and Best New Sunglass Model (Premium Segment)
The very first edition of the Vision-X VP Awards – a joint initiative between VisionPlus Arabia Magazine and the organisers of Vision-X Dubai, aimed at recognising the best products in the optical industry, was held in a grand ceremony on 25th November, 2014, during the first day of the Vision-X trade show in Dubai. Introduced as a new concept, the awards received an overwhelming response in terms of participation from some of the leading brands in the optical industry across the globe. The awards were hosted amidst a lot of excitement and fun that filled the evening as the winner’s league of the optical industry could be seen gleaming with pride.
Models SCH-A54D and SCH135 from Chopard won the award for Best New Sunglass Model (Luxury Segment) and Best New Sunglass Model (Premium Segment) respectively. The Derivision Team was present on the occasion to receive the awards.

Chopard’s SCH-A54D is available in two colour options. One is gold mirrored lenses 300G, and another is smoke polarised lenses 300P. The frame is 23 karat gold-plated and is made in Italy. One each temple, there is one round brilliant cut diamond for the total amount of 0.2 ct per sunglass. The ‘moving diamond’ recalls the iconic concept of Happy Diamonds Collection.

Available in black and gold, black and silver, and havana colours, the sharp lines of SCH135 sunglasses in foldable frames combine both the classic and the contemporary feel. With gold details, this product reflects understated sophistication. Foldable at both the rim and the temple, this unisex model by Chopard turns frugal on space usage, and can be conveniently stored either in a woman’s clutch or slipped snugly into a man’s pocket. The polarised lenses, in black, brown or grey shades, cut out glare and offer complete protection against eye strain, focusing on rapidly moving animate objects.
