GMSD Group Hosts Exhibition In Chennai

Leading brands displayed their offerings at the two day exhibition that was hosted in Chennai

Galorebay, The Monarch Enterprises, Suprol and Diamond Lab (GMSD Group) came together to organise an exhibition in Chennai. The two day exhibition inaugurated on 28th June this year, consisted of the latest optical products put on display by leading opticians from all over the region.

These included participation from big names like Bhavik Turakhia, Snehal Turakhia, from Turakhia Opticians, Chennai, Seshan Jayaraman from Vijay Optical House, representatives from Kapleshwar Optical, B Kanagalingam Optical, Pondicherry, and many others. The program also saw participation from Agarwal Eye Hospital and Arvind Eye Hospital. In fact, people from as far as Trissur, Trichy, Dindigul, Madurai, Tirunelvelli, Coimbatore and Ernakulum had come forward to participate in this event. The mix of participants included a blend of single retail stores, chain stores and leading eye hospitals as well, in order to give the customers a better understanding of the latest developments in the optical segment.

In terms of participation, the event received an overwhelming response with more than 400 footfalls in just two days. According to the organisers, the response to the exhibition exceeded their expectations. The exhibition emerged as an excellent platform to give the customers an idea on what is new and trending in the domain of optical products. The entire event also served as a tool that gave insights on customer demands in the region as well as their preferences.

Commenting on the response to the exhibition, Murtaza T, Managing Director of The Monarch Enterprises said, “Customers down South appeared to be more open minded and willing to try out the new technologies. This has also helped our participants get a better idea about the type of products that can work well in the region”.

The display included frames by Galorebay and ophthalmic lens innovations by Suprol. Diamond Lab, provider of optical instruments from leading international and home brands, put forth an impressive display which comprised of auto refractometers and keratometers, auto edgers, 3D edgers, lens meter and fully automated optometry system. The Monarch
Enterprises, leading provider of creative optical display solutions, showcased innovative options, developed specifically in accordance to adapt to the dynamic needs of the practitioners, today.
