The sunglass won the Vision-X VP Award for Best New Sports Eyewear
The very first edition of the Vision-X VP Awards – a joint initiative between VisionPlus Arabia Magazine and the organisers of Vision-X Dubai, aimed at recognising the best products in the optical industry, was held in a grand ceremony on 25th November, 2014, during the first day of the Vision-X trade show in Dubai. Introduced as a new concept, the awards received an overwhelming response in terms of participation from some of the leading brands in the optical industry across the globe. The awards were hosted amidst a lot of excitement and fun that filled the evening as the winner’s league of the optical industry could be seen gleaming with pride.
One of the award winners was Ferrari’s 13265 sunglass, which won the Vision-X VP Award for Best New Sports Eyewear. Ali Laila, Assistant Marketing Manager, and Richard Noronha, Sales Director from the Rivoli Group received the award from Siraj Bolar, Editor-in-Chief of VisionPlus Arabia Magazine.
“We constantly strive to supply the market with key designs that reflect Ferrari’s vision and positioning as a luxury sporting brand,” said Richard Noronha, Sales Director, Rivoli Group. He added, “The award reiterates our position in this particular category and motivates us to deliver world-class products and experiences to our clients.”
The silver metal frame of the Ferrari 13265 sunglasses is embellished by the red perforated calfskin earpieces and sweatbar. The silver colour Zeiss mirror lenses feature the Prancing Horse logo in metal. These special glasses, with flexible bars and entirely handmade in Italy, come with a genuine reclaimed leather case.
