The British Contact Lens Association (BCLA) has begun its search for a new Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
BCLA President, Andy Yorke, commented: “The BCLA is at a crossroads; having invested significantly over the last couple of years to lay the foundations for change, the Association requires a CEO to work with the Council to continue this evolutionary process and take the Association to a new level.
“The vision is for the Association to establish itself as the leading resource gateway for the contact lens community,” Andy continued. “Our new CEO will drive the delivery of this vision and be responsible for the success and implementation of our strategic business plan.
“They will also work with a dedicated team of staff and consultants to establish the annual BCLA Clinical Conference as an essential event in the calendar for all UK eyecare practitioners involved in contact lens, therapeutics and anterior eye work,” added Andy.
The closing date for applications is 1 September 2013.
